Lévinoque stands for musical-rhythmic adventures that encourage you to groove along. Inspired by contemporary jazz, minimal and pop, the sound of the Basel based band is unconventional but catchy, light but multilayered, simple yet complex, intellectual but with a lot of soul.

Or as Michèle Faller of the Riehener-Zeitung puts it: "... suddenly you realize that the melody is straightforward, but the sound is anything but simple, not least because of the irregular rhythm, which, however, fits naturally into the tones - or vice versa."
